On August 27, 1990 the WWF’s third annual SummerSlam was held in front of 19,304 fans at The Spectrum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the final match on the card, WWF World Heavyweight Champion The Ultimate Warrior put his title on the line against “Ravishing” Rick Rude (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) in a steel cage match.
