May Dew Rhyme from Ballygarrett, Co. Wexford Here is a recording from 2005 of my late mother and grandmother recalling a little My Dew Riddle. Granny was in right form that day and even suggested a cure for a sore arse involving grass and nettles! Anyway the little riddle goes: 'Wash them in water that never rained nor sprung and dry them in a towel that was never wove nor spun" ie Rub you hands in the May Dew and use the sun to dry them.
