The first of Beyoncé’s three concerts at Soldier Field started late but proved well worth the wait, showing that she has more or less reinvented country music.

After a two-hour severe storm delay, the production finally got underway at 10:15 p.m., offering a complex, layered think piece worth every minute of the wait.

"It's too many people calling to say, 'Can you fit me in?' When I get too many, 'Can you fit me ins' then I know something's going on in Chicago," Keystylist Salon owner Kesha Levy said.
