Tioga Road, the popular and scenic section of Highway 120 that allows access to the eastern side of Yosemite National Park, will open on Memorial Day, the National Park Service announced on its website Thursday.

Jackson's pools will reopen after Memorial Day weekend, offering swim lessons and open swim sessions at several locations for residents to enjoy.

Since the Palisades Fire, Pacific Coast Highway has only been open to first responders, construction crews and local residents.

After opening more than 130 locations in May, Big Lots is set to open more than 70 stores across the U.S. on June 5.
