Following the violence in Nagpur over right-wing groups demands to remove the tomb of Aurangzeb, a curfew remains intact in the city. Furthermore, a total of five FIRs have been registered, one against accused for inappropriately touched a female police officer on duty.

The unrest, which erupted during a demonstration organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal, led to an unexpected outbreak of violence in Nagpur. In response, police imposed strict security measures, including curfews and route marches, to prevent further incidents.

A local court has sent 19 people, accused in the Nagpur violence, to police custody till March 21. The police produced them before the court on Tuesday, according to a report by news agency PTI.
