A child tested positive for fentanyl after ingesting mystery pills that were reportedly discovered at a day care in Victorville. On March 18, San Bernardino County deputies responded to La Petite Academy at 14040 Bear Valley Road after reports that blue pills were found in a classroom.

At least one of the children later tested positive for fentanyl, officials said. An investigation was launched in to the source of the pills.
