Slate Auto confirmed it would build it’s low-cost direct to consumer electric vehicles in Warsaw at a now vacant factory. And there appears to be lots of consumer interest.

Slate Truck, which is backed by Jeff Bezos, is priced at $20,000 after federal EV incentives, a concept some would consider radical and even inconceivable.
