The lawyer whose defense team won acquittal for Sean “Diddy” Combs on life-sentence-eligible charges says the music mogul was greeted by a standing ovation from fellow prisoners when he returned to jail after the verdict.

The rapper’s lead attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said his client’s fellow inmates in Brooklyn, NY, viewed the partial acquittal as a sign of hope.

Sean “Diddy” Combs dropped to his knees, placed his hands together, and bowed his head moments after the jury found him not guilty of the most serious criminal charges he faced, giving him a second chance at life.
