The Los Angeles Dodgers continue their crusade to upgrade their bullpen ahead of the MLB trade deadline. On Wednesday, the club added some depth by trading for RHP Paul Gervase and LHP Adam Serwinowski in a three-way deal with the Tampa Bay Rays and Cincinnati Reds.

While other National League playoff contenders made a flurry of blockbuster deals, the Dodgers took a small-ball approach, largely banking on the return of several key veterans.

The Dodgers acquired reliever Brock Stewart from the Twins in exchange for outfielder James Outman. They also added OF Alex Call in a trade with the Nationals.
