CHICAGO (CBS) — At least three people were killed and eight others wounded in Chicago weekend shootings, according to Chicago police. The ages of the victims range from 16 to 63. In the first shooting of the weekend, A 63-year-old man was shot in front of a residence around 5:23 p.m. in the 7800 block of South Emerald Avenue.

One man was killed and six men were wounded late Saturday night when a shooting erupted during a prayer vigil in the Little Village neighborhood on the city’s Southwest Side. According to Chicago police,

Chicago police are trying to figure out who shot and killed a woman early Tuesday morning in the Washington Heights neighborhood as she was inside a home when shots were fired. Officers were going in and out Tuesday morning and said they were speaking to a person of interest in the case.

Multiple people were shot, one fatally, across Chicago Saturday night. The first shooting happened at 7:33 p.m. in 8500 block of South Manistee Avenue in South Chicago. Police said a 32-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were in a vehicle when they were shot by an unknown suspect.

Three men were wounded in a shooting in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood Friday night. The shooting happened around 10:48 p.m. in the 6000 block of South Princeton Avenue. According to police, three men were sitting in a parked car when two people approached and opened fire.
