N.Y., defended his decision to vote for a Republican spending bill to avoid a government shutdown as "The View" co-host Sunny Hostin said he caved.

After telling House Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to his face on Tuesday that "you caved" on the GOP funding bill, "The View" host Sunny Hostin doubled down on her criticisms on Wednesday. But host Joy Behar scolded her for it this time.

Sunny Hostin had blunt words for Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) during his appearance on “The View” Tuesday morning. The New York senator has come under fire recently after he and nine other Senate Democrats seemed happy to give up any leverage against Republican efforts to demolish federal agencies and shut off government spending without congressional approval.
