The Hershey Bears suffered a 2-1 overtime loss to the Charlotte Checkers on Saturday night in Game 2 of the Atlantic Division Finals. Hershey trails 2-0 in the best-of-5 series and needs three straight wins to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

The visitors’ one-goal lead did not last long, though, as Charlotte defenseman Michael Benning beat Shepard with a power-play goal with 4:10 left. Bears defenseman Chase Priskie was in the penalty box for hooking when Benning scored.
