Nevada struck a first-of-its-kind deal with Roblox to boost kid safety online and fund youth programs.

The gaming platform Roblox has agreed to implement a series of kids safety measures and pay the state of Nevada $12 million in a new settlement, Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford announced

Roblox has around 151.5 million daily active users and is used by nearly half of the entire U.S. population of children under 16 years old, according to Nevada State Attorney General Aaron Ford.

Children under 16 will soon access new versions of Roblox, featuring stricter limitations and improved parental controls.
