Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) celebrated Tesla‘s declining stock while speaking to a Wisconsin crowd on Tuesday. Walz was in the state for a campaign event on behalf of Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate Susan Crawford.

The former vice presidential candidate Walz said he checks Tesla’s share price to give him a “little boost during the day,” nodding to Musk’s company’s more than 40% year-to-date loss.
