San Diego Padres infielder Luis Arraez went on the seven-day injured list Monday and is in Major League Baseball’s concussion protocol after a grisly collision at first base briefly hospitalized Arraez.

After Tatis began the game with a walk, Arraez laid down a sacrifice bunt and then ran full-speed into Astros second baseman Mauricio Dubón, who was covering first base and had received the throw from pitcher Framber Valdez as he reached the bag.
