Winfrey shared the news while appearing in the late journalist's new documentary 'Barbara Walters: Tell Me Everything'

Walters, who earned multiple Daytime Emmys for her work on TODAY and “The View,” married three different men over the course of her life. In 1968, she and her second husband, Lee Guber, adopted a daughter, Jacqueline, with whom she had a tempestuous relationship. Walters died in 2022 at the age of 93.

Oprah Winfrey has shed some light on why she never became a mom. While speaking about her late friend Barbara Walters in the upcoming Hulu documentary Barbara Walters Tell Me Everything, the famed talk show host admitted The View alum's own experiences in motherhood partially caused Winfrey to never want children.
