Ford has issued a safety recall for several popular SUV and pickup truck models due to issues with the braking systems. Around 312,120 vehicles are affected by the recall, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The company says the software controlling electric brake boosters could malfunction while driving. Ford is recalling more than 300,000 vehicles over concerns that problems with the power brake assist system could lead to a crash.
