The Ultimate Warrior was a character, created by a man named James Hellwig and crafted by the writers at the old World Wrestling Federation, the megalith of fictional sport.

The Ultimate Warrior started wrestling professionally with World Class Championship Wrestling in 1986, and “Jedi” premiered in 1983.

When the duo split in 1986, Hellwig adopted the 'Warrior' persona for the first time, moving to World Class Championship Wrestling, then to the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) a year later.

The Ultimate Warrior, one of the biggest superstars in professional wrestling, died Tuesday, World Wrestling Entertainment said in a statement.
