The Columbus Recreation and Parks Department's cultural arts center will cease using nude models in its art classes for liability reasons, a department spokesperson said.

The University of Oregon has ended a weekly class for community artists to sketch nude models, saying it could not afford the increasing cost of keeping the popular classes secure.

The 19-year-old is one among a handful of students working as models in the university’s art department.
