Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) is living a “sad existence” for cheering the demise of Elon Musk‘s car company, the White House said Wednesday. “I think that’s quite sad,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said when asked about the former vice presidential nominee.

The former vice presidential candidate Walz said he checks Tesla’s share price to give him a “little boost during the day,” nodding to Musk’s company’s more than 40% year-to-date loss.
