The Minnesota Timberwolves reached their second straight Western Conference Finals as they downed the Golden State Warriors 121-110 to close out a 4-1 series win.

With a minute and a half remaining in the second quarter, Wolves star Julius Randle hit a long-range bomb to put Minnesota up by 11 points in what could very well be the final game of Golden State's season. The cameras caught Curry's reaction on the bench as the former back-to-back MVP was seen shaking his head in disbelief.

After the Warriors somehow stole Game 1 in Minnesota, Edwards led the Timberwolves' rally back with three consecutive wins, including both games on the road in San Francisco. Anthony Edwards has averaged 28.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in the three games since Curry's injury.

Never was Stephen Curry's impact more clearly illustrated than when the Golden State Warriors struggled to even compete against the Minnesota Timberwolves without him. Curry was sidelined with a hamstring strain for all but 13 minutes of the Warriors' five-game elimination in the Western Conference semifinals,

Fast forward a few months, and Minnesota is headed back to the conference finals in no small part because of Randle, who continued the best stretch of basketball of his postseason -- and probably professional -- life with 27 points on 12-of-17 shooting on Wednesday as the Wolves eliminated the Warriors in five games.
