Former Mancheseter United goalkeeper David de Gea enjoyed his return to Old Trafford with Fiorentina for a pre-season friendly on Saturday. "It has been a long time since coming back here so it was a special day seeing old friends. It was amazing. Seeing the crowd and players was emotional. It was a game I will never forget for sure."

Former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea was honored at Old Trafford during the club's pre-season friendly against Fiorentina. De Gea spent over a decade between the sticks for the Red Devils, making 415 appearances between 2011 and 2023. After leaving Man Utd, he joined Fiorentina in 2024.
