With the 2024 season now officially over, the Michigan Wolverines are turning their full attention toward building the best roster possible for the 2025 season.

Big things were expected of the Michigan football 2024 recruiting class and while the jury may be out for some time, the Wolverines had something of a surprising departure via the transfer portal.

It has been a busy offseason for Michigan, but there's nothing like the transfer portal. Here are Wolverines player commitments for 2025 season.

Michigan landed Indiana wide receiver Donaven McCulley right away when the transfer portal opened which was nice given he's a 6-foot-5 body, but the Wolverines

On Saturday, one of the most intriguing names in the transfer portal, former Michigan Wolverines quarterback Alex Orji, announced his decision. Orji committed to the UNLV Rebels of the Mountain West. As Orji takes his talents from the Big Ten to the Mountain West, he'll be playing under first-year head coach Dan Mullen .

Michigan’s football program has dipped into the transfer portal to land a new long snapper for 2025. UCLA’s Trent Middleton announced his commitment to the Wolverines on Thursday in a social media post. “Beyond blessed to say I have committed to the University of Michigan,” he wrote accompanied by a graphic of him in a Wolverines uniform.

Michigan has added to its special teams through the transfer portal with the commitment of long-snapper Trent Middleton.

Michigan is bound to bring in another wide receiver from the transfer portal before it's all said and done. After landing Indiana playmaker Donaven McCulley, the Wolverines haven't had the same luck in landing another receiver.
