Marvel Studios broke the internet when they revealed the cast for Avengers: Doomsday in a livestream event. Over 5 ½ hours, they slowly revealed the names of actors on the backs of on-set chairs, resulting in a cast of 27 names.

Marvel stream, which unveiled a lengthy list of cast members for Avengers: Doomsday, ignited even more intrigue and speculation around the movie. The star-studded cast included familiar faces and the return of some former fan favorites from previous superhero films.

Marvel has announced the return of some Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) stars in 2026's "Avengers: Doomsday," including Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.

With the promise of an all-star cast led by Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom and Infinity War and Endgame’s creative team back in action, the fifth Avengers movie could bring back much of the franchise’s lost spark.
