If you listened to most of the college basketball experts making TV appearances since the March Madness brackets were released Sunday, the NCAA Tournament is Florida’s to lose. However, the University of Houston did get its fair share of love.

There are not a lot more improbable feats in sports than a No. 16 seed in the NCAA Tournament beating a No. 1 seed. Although the UMBC Retrievers and the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights proved that such an achievement is not, after all, impossible, that March Madness scenario remains largely unthinkable.
