Claire's, an iconic tween jewelry and accessories store, has filed for bankruptcy. The company announced that a handful of stores are closing immediately and hinted that over a thousand locations could close.

For decades, Claire's has been a staple of shopping malls for decades. It will close 1,119 stores if it can't find a buyer soon.
