When the Beacon is destroyed, Malgosha and the Piglins can no longer survive in the Overworld, and one by one they start to zombify and wither away. Malgosha is one of the last to die, and at the end of the movie, we see her lifeless body slumped over.

After spending most of the movie on a very long date with an Overworld villager who made his way into the real world, the two now seem happy together--and the villager also speaks human now. Providing the voice is none other than What We Do in the Shadows star Matt Berry in one of the movie's best surprises.

The ending of A Minecraft Movie, starring Jack Black and Jason Momoa, has big implications for a sequel. If the video game adaptation performs well at the box office, it could be paid off.
