For days, the San Antonio Spurs were the odds-on favorites to acquire Kevin Durant from the Phoenix Suns. But something changed recently, and there is a new team in the running. According to DraftKings Sportsbook,

the T-Wolves likely have interest in Durant like they did around the time of the trade deadline back in February, but "nothing is close" to getting done between Minnesota and Phoenix as of Saturday.

If Minnesota makes any significant roster changes, it will likely have to come by trade.

Kevin Durant has three preferred destinations: the Miami Heat, Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs.

Jaden McDaniels will not be part of the deal.

A pairing of Edwards and Durant would be lethal in the Western Conference.
